Parks
The Council owns and manages two focal parks in Stanway, Lucy Lane South (ideally suited to primary school children) and Silver Witch Green (for all ages).

Memorials
The Council laid a COVID Memorial Stone in March 2023 on the 3rd anniversary of first lock down in tribute and memory of all those affected and the volunteers who supported them and this is located at Silver Witch Green.
Village Greens
The Council are custodians of Swan Green, on the London Road, which is an historic natural green, bordering Copford and the Roman River. There is a seating for anyone who wishes to sit and enjoy the outdoors.
Sports & Fitness
The Playing Field at Stanway Community Centre provide football facilities for Stanway Villa Youth Teams and also provides a green space in the centre of Stanway for the community to walk dogs and enjoy the outdoors. If available, the field also provides an ideal outdoor space for hall hirers
